Does LLT accept tithe in support of the Sabbath Video Project?
First of all, we greatly appreciate all who have contributed financially to the work at LLT and the Sabbath Video Project through the years. As we progress through production of Parts 2 and 3 of The Seventh Day series, I recognize that it is because of folks who have born this project on their hearts, that the work is being done. I thank God for their support, and cherish their prayers.

As I look at contributions that come into LLT, I find myself in a dilemma. We have always considered ourselves a "supporting ministry" - supporting the Seventh-day Adventist Church in accomplishing the work God has given us to do, and hastening the coming of Jesus. Our goal, with the church, is to see the Sabbath truth presented as widely as possible.

There have been times when folks have asked whether we are willing to receive tithe to support this work. We do not, nor have we ever, solicited tithe. At the same time, we do not believe that it is our place to tell others what they must do with their tithe. And there have been times when people have felt impressed by God to send tithe for support. In that case, we have received it with thanksgiving, as from the Lord, and used it for the support of those working on the Sabbath video.

Because of recent confusion in some minds about the role of the SDA denomination and the use of tithe, we have decided we would like to avoid possible misunderstandings by taking the position that we will not knowingly accept tithe funds. Since the whole purpose of this project is to prepare people for the coming of Jesus, we would not want to lay any stumbling stones for those who are or may become members of God’s Church on earth.
As we enter this final phase, we want to make sure there is nothing that the enemy could use to discredit this work, or to bring accusation against us. Our goal is too important and Jesus is coming too soon!
As you can imagine, we face some fairly serious financial requirements for completion of parts 2 and 3. God has provided up to this point, and I’m assured by His promises that He will also provide for the accomplishment of the rest. Our God is an awesome God!
